Cad Blocks
Cad Blocks
CAD
blocks are groups of objects that work together to form a single 2D or 3D
object. They can be used to generate repetitive content such as drawing
symbols, common components, and standard details. Because you can reuse and
share content, blocks help you save time, maintain consistency, and reduce file
size.
Using
CAD blocks for objects such as appliances, doors and windows, electrical
fixtures, furniture, and other equipment specific to the purpose of the planned
building is a good idea. Because you don't have to spend time drawing each
piece of furniture in a restaurant. They also contribute to project
consistency. Finally, they reduce project file size because each CAD block is
instanced to every location on the plan rather than duplicated.
